No. 01A weather-aware closet copilot

Stop buying clothes
you already own.

OOtira lives in your browser when you shop, and on your phone when you're getting dressed. It knows your closet. It reads the sky. It tells you, plainly, what to wear and what to skip.

No. 02How OOtira is different

Three things every closet app gets wrong.

We read every Reddit thread, every one-star review, every research paper we could find. The same complaints surface again and again. Here's how we answer them.

01 ·  The cold start problem

Closet apps die at the cold start. Ours doesn't.

Industry research shows users abandon wardrobe apps before reaching 30 items — because every app demands you photograph a hundred garments before showing any value. OOtira works from your fifth item.

  • Method 01Snap a photo. We auto-detect category, color, warmth, formality.
  • Method 02Click in any store. Our Chrome extension grabs the item from Zara, Amazon, Uniqlo, anywhere.
  • Method 03Drop an order screenshot. We read the receipt and add it.

02 ·  The weather blind spot

Most AI stylists don't understand weather. Ours was built for it.

One leading app was caught recommending sweaters in 38°C heat. Reviewers called it atrocious. The problem is that most apps treat weather as an API call, not as styling logic. OOtira translates weather into clothing decisions.

  • SignalRain probability becomes fabric choice and shoe waterproofing.
  • SignalDay-night temperature swing becomes layering depth.
  • SignalWind chill becomes coat weight — not just the thermometer.
  • SignalUV index becomes a reason to add a layer, not just sunscreen.
Every outfit we recommend comes with a reason. If you disagree, tell us why. The next recommendation listens.
03 ·  The wrong moment

We show up when you're about to make a mistake.

The two moments that matter aren't in an app. They're at checkout, and at the door. That's where OOtira lives.

  • CheckoutClick Should I buy this? on any product page. We compare it to your closet and tell you if you already own something similar, how many real outfits it would unlock, and whether your local weather will let you wear it.
  • MorningOpen OOtira on your phone. Three outfits, today's weather, your calendar — with explanations, not just pictures.

No. 05The honest FAQ

Questions you'll have.

How is this different from Google Photos' new Wardrobe feature?+
Google built a beautiful digital closet. OOtira is a stylist. Google answers "what do I own?" — we answer "should I buy this?" and "what should I wear today?" We're a layer above, not a competitor below. Different job, different moment.
Why not an iOS or Android app?+
Because the moments that matter — checkout and getting dressed — happen in your browser and on the web. Native apps come once we know what's working. We'd rather ship something useful in 10 days than something polished in 6 months.
Will the AI actually understand my style?+
Honest answer: not perfectly, not yet. Every recommendation comes with a reason, and you can tell us why you'd reject it. The model gets better the more you push back. We'd rather be transparent about that than pretend.
What if I only have 5 items photographed?+
That's enough to start. Most apps need 30+ items to be useful — we built ours to give you something worth reading on day one. Add more as you go; recommendations get sharper with every item.
Who's behind this?+
Three people building for the Solo Builder Challenge, Gemma Hackathon. We answer email within 6 hours. No bots. — service@service.ootira.com
